Helen's Park is named for Helen Dallerup Williams, wife of the late Myron Williams.  When Mr. Williams died in 1990, he provided in his will for construction of a park with a fountain "of outstanding beauty, composed of lovely colors". 

Helen's Park was dedicated in October 2000 as the first completed component of the Campus Park project.  The Myron Williams Trust, created by the terms of Mr. Williams' will, provides perpetual funding for the park's maintenance.
