We are now in our new membership year and we need every resident (homeowner or renter) to help pay for maintenance and security. We want our community to be well maintained and safe for all. We know we can only achieve that when everyone contributes.
BPHA covers the maintenance of the esplanades, fogging, website, deed restrictions, coordination of neighborhood business and interaction with city government. We understand the limits of city services and correct the gap with everyone's participation.
We also want to make sure that we have a higher level of security and response than what the city can provide. For this, we have a dedicated Constable Patrol who can help us by responding quickly and help us maintain the security to our homes, streets and neighborhood public spaces.
Your neighbor delivered this Sentinel to your door because you are part of the BPHA community. Each of us has a role in maintaining it. Our membership year just began and the bills are coming in. Please submit your payment promptly so that all services are maintained. There are payment plans available online www.braeswoodplace.org .
You can also just use the form included in this issue of the Sentinel to turn in your payment. Please give the office a call if you rent and would like to confirm the homeowner has paid for maintenance and security.

Our annual July 4th Parade and Picnic is this month. Please come out and watch all the kids proudly display their decorated bikes and wagons. We have been very fortunate to have a large air-conditioned space and lots of enormous fans to keep us cool and give everyone a chance to see familiar faces and talk to neighbors.
Meeting for residents of Areas 8 & 9 (South of the bayou)
Last year, we held a meeting for residents who live in areas 8 and 9 which are on the south side of the bayou. It was very well attended and informative. These areas border other neighborhoods and often there are specific issues to address.
