Should ordinances be passed allowing for fines between $10,000-250,000, per structure, if a flood barrier is utilized during a high water event? A while back I asked the City of Houston to look into the possibility of creating an ordinance and or guidelines pretaining to the use of flood barriers. Mayor Turner instructed Council Member David Robinson to explore the issue. Has there been any followup? Grant it, this interaction with the Houston was before Covid.
