National Night Out
Held annually on the first Tuesday in October, National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes police- community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Knowing our neighbors is so important – it not only strengthens our sense of community, but it is one of the most effective ways to prevent crime.
To mark the occasion, blocks typically host outdoor gatherings and the constable patrol stops by
to greet residents. Please consider hosting a simple gathering for your block! The time frame is
generally between 6-9pm but is up to each host.
Whether you’re new to Braeswood Place or a longtime resident, hosting is a great way to get
involved and support our fantastic neighborhood.

If your block isn’t on the list yet, please consider reaching out to Eliza Rappaport to sign up. She’ll be happy to answer any questions and can provide sample invitations. Together we will make it a successful National Night Out!
